Integration

GPS Device Integration for Transport Fleets.

Most fleets already have GPS from one or two vendors. The transport system should read them, not replace them.

What it gives a transport office

How SCM for Transporter uses it

Devices are pulled every 2 minutes for pings, geofences and trip milestones. Positions appear on the live map and in WhatsApp answers; delay against ETA, GPS offline, route deviation and detention risk raise alerts, and LR status can update from milestones and GPS automatically.

What to check before going live

GPS, ULIP, NIC, e-invoice and GST run on one scheduler per company that never double-sends; companies that keep an outside ERP connect through signed events and webhooks. Nothing leaves the server until the live switch, the company’s go-live and a daily send limit all allow it. See SCM for Transporter.

Questions

Do I need to change my GPS provider?

No. Existing devices are read through their vendor’s feed.

Can LR status update from GPS?

Yes. Milestones such as leaving the origin or reaching the destination geofence can update LR status automatically.

See it on your own data. SCM for Transporter runs the bilty, e-way bill, trips, billing and accounts in one system. Book a 30-minute working session with an engineer.
