An LR is booked, the e-way bill is generated and the load is cancelled. If nobody cancels the e-way bill in time, it stays on record.

An LR is booked, the e-way bill is generated and the load is cancelled. If nobody cancels the e-way bill in time, it stays on record.
Cancellations are forgotten because the trip never started.
AR-22 alerts operations every 30 minutes when the cancel window is closing (20 hours) and the LR has not started. AR-21 alerts when an e-way bill expires while the LR is on the road.
Count e-way bills not cancelled in time and those that expired on the road; aim for zero.
In SCM for Transporter, alerts go to the right role group on WhatsApp, deduplicated per window and grouped into digests, and every automation starts switched off for each company. Related: e-way bill validity calculator, NIC API.
The rules generally allow cancellation within 24 hours of generation if the goods have not moved; check the current rules on the NIC portal.
The generator of the e-way bill can cancel it within the allowed window; confirm the current rules for your case.
