MCA V3 e-form filing: a workflow from client request to SRN.

Filing an e-Form is the last ten minutes of the job. The days go into working out which form, collecting the details and getting them right.

The workflow, step by step

  1. Request: the client describes the change in plain words, such as “appoint a director” or “shift the registered office”, with documents attached.
  2. Identify the form: map the request to the right e-Form, for example DIR-12 for director changes or INC-22 for a change of registered office.
  3. Pre-fill: take CIN, name, address and directors from the company record instead of retyping them.
  4. Collect the gaps: ask the client only for the fields still missing.
  5. Validate: check DIN, PAN, CIN, dates and amounts for format before review.
  6. Attach and read documents: board resolutions, consents, sanction letters.
  7. Review: the professional checks the form against the live MCA form.
  8. File and record: file on the MCA V3 portal and record the SRN and filing date.

How AutoROC does it

AutoROC is a filing workspace for Company Secretaries and Chartered Accountants who file ROC forms for many companies and LLPs. Each client gets a portal with their CIN and an access code, and raises requests in plain words with documents attached. An assistant maps the request to the right MCA e-Form from a catalogue of 15, pre-fills everything already known from the company record, asks the client only for what is missing, one question at a time, and validates DIN, PAN, CIN, dates and amounts as they are entered. Board resolutions, consents and sanction letters are attached to the ticket and read. The professional reviews the pre-filled e-Form, prints it to PDF or exports JSON for the MCA V3 portal, files it and records the SRN. Tickets move new → collecting → ready → filed → done, and every client’s due dates sit on one dashboard with days left. The e-Form is a pre-filled reference for transcription; always verify against the live MCA form before filing.
