Say it once, in your language
Type or tap the mic. English, Hindi and Hinglish all work, so you can ask the way you talk.
Android X is an AI agent for Android phones. Type or speak a task in English or Hindi, or send it on WhatsApp, and it opens your apps, taps, types and reports back.
01What it is
A chatbot answers. Android X acts: it uses the apps already on your phone the way you would, one visible step at a time.
Android X is an AI agent for Android phones by Autowhat AI. You tell it a task in one chat — by typing or voice, in English, Hindi or Hinglish, or by sending it on WhatsApp — and it completes the task by operating the apps on your phone through Android accessibility: it opens the app, reads the screen, taps and types, and then tells you what it did. It asks before anything paid or irreversible.
Type or tap the mic. English, Hindi and Hinglish all work, so you can ask the way you talk.
It opens your apps, reads the screen, taps and types through Android accessibility — no root, no computer, no setup of API keys.
Message a task on WhatsApp and Android X does the work on your phone, then replies with what it did.
A live step line shows what it is doing right now, and it confirms the exact amount and item before anything paid or irreversible.
02The app
One chat, one round button, and a floating orb over any app. Everything else waits behind your avatar.
Screens drawn from the app's design with sample content.
03Live step line
When Android X works, its reply is born as one line with the real app and a plain step — “Adding atta to cart” — that updates as it goes, then folds into the answer with the time and the number of steps.
04Linked phones
Two phones link with a six-character code, and both screens show the same check code so you know the link is genuine. Each person decides what the other may make their agent do.
05Pairing army · coming in early access
Link the phones around your business and family — the godown phone, the shop counter, your billing staff, drivers, parents — and send one task to all of them, a group or one person. Each linked phone answers through its own Android X and keeps its own rule for what you may make it do.
06Privacy
Contacts, messages, your memory, chat history and files live on the phone. When Android X needs to think, the task and the screen being worked on go to Autowhat's server, are processed in memory, and are not stored.
07How it works
Five steps on day one; after that it is just the chat and the orb.
Install the app and sign in with your e-mail and a six-digit code, or continue on this device only.
Start the free trial or pick a monthly plan; in India pay with UPI AutoPay or a card mandate.
Allow it to use the screen, read notifications and show over other apps, so it can act in your apps.
Type, speak or send it on WhatsApp — “pay the electricity bill”, “send Ravi today's PDF”.
Follow the live step line, approve anything paid, and find every task in your Tasks list.
08Everyday tasks
Examples of tasks people give an AI agent for Android — in the words they use.
Find the biller, fill the consumer number, show you the amount and pay after you confirm.
“Pay the electricity bill”
Reorder your usual items, check the cart and wait for your OK before paying.
“Order 5 kg atta and 2 litres of milk”
Send a file you downloaded, reply to a message, or share a sheet with a colleague.

Compare flight or train options, book a cab for a time, and send you the details.

Set reminders and follow-ups the way you say them, including in Hindi.
“कल सुबह 7 बजे मम्मी को कॉल याद दिलाना”

FAQQuestions about Android X
What an AI agent for Android does, what it can see, and what it needs.
Android X is an AI agent for Android phones by Autowhat AI. You tell it a task by typing or speaking, in English, Hindi or Hinglish, or by sending it on WhatsApp, and it completes the task by using the apps on your phone, then reports what it did.
Android X uses Android's accessibility service to read what is on the screen and to tap and type, the same way a person would. Its reasoning runs on Autowhat's server, which decides the next step; the phone carries it out and shows each step on a live line.
Accessibility lets the agent see and act in your apps, so it only acts on tasks you or your approved linked people give it. It confirms anything paid or irreversible with the exact amount first, and you can stop a task at any time or switch the agent off.
No. Android X works with standard Android permissions — accessibility, notification access and showing over other apps — on an ordinary phone. You do not need root, a computer, developer mode or your own API keys.
Android X needs Android 10 or newer. It is built for everyday Android phones, and on brands such as Xiaomi the setup shows the extra settings needed to keep it running in the background.
Yes. You can type or speak to Android X in Hindi, English or Hinglish, and choose the voice language in settings. Reminders, messages and other tasks work the same in each language.
Yes. Send a task to Android X on WhatsApp and it does the work on your phone, then replies with the result. Tasks from WhatsApp appear in your Tasks list marked as coming from WhatsApp.
Android X will be a monthly subscription with a free trial for new accounts. In India you will be able to pay with UPI AutoPay or a card e-mandate, or in US dollars elsewhere. Plans and prices are confirmed when early access opens.
Your contacts, messages, memory, chat history and files stay on the phone. To think, the current task and the screen being worked on are sent to Autowhat's server, processed in memory and not stored. The server keeps your account, subscription, usage counts and redacted how-to notes about apps.
No. Android X confirms anything paid or irreversible with the exact amount and item before it acts, and you can turn on a second check before payments and deletes. You can also pause the agent or stop any task while it runs.
Voice assistants mainly answer questions and run a set of built-in actions. Android X is built to finish tasks inside the apps you already use, shows every step as it works, takes tasks from WhatsApp, speaks Hindi and Hinglish, and can help a linked family phone with permission.
No. Android X needs an internet connection because its reasoning runs on Autowhat's server. Without a connection it tells you it could not start and lets you try again once you are back online.
Android X runs in the background so it can respond to the orb, WhatsApp and linked phones, and it uses more power while it is actively working on a task. The setup asks you to allow background running so the phone does not close it.
Yes, that is the pairing army, coming in early access. You link phones one by one with a six-character code, and each person chooses what you may make their agent do. You can then send one task to all linked phones or to a group, and every reply comes back into one thread. Plans at launch are designed for 2, 5 or 10 linked phones.
Yes. Link the two phones with a six-character code and check that both screens show the same check code. Your parent chooses whether you may only ask questions, run tasks with their approval, or run tasks freely, and can change or unlink at any time.
