What a person should still check before an AI-made post goes live
Generating a post now takes seconds. Approving it well still takes a person. Here is what we think that person should actually look at, and what they can safely skip.
Generating a post is no longer the slow part. In Content AI a brief becomes a creative and caption in seconds. That shifts where the real work sits: on the person who decides whether a draft is ready. We think this review step deserves more thought than it usually gets, because a rushed approval is how off-brand or wrong posts reach a feed.
Our position is that review should be short and focused on the things a model cannot know for sure. It should not be a rewrite of every caption.
Why review matters more, not less
When a designer made three posts a week, each one got attention by default. When a month of posts can be generated in an afternoon, attention gets spread thin. The risk is not that drafts are bad; it is that nobody looks closely because there are so many. That is why we built Content AI with a person in the loop: any line or image can be changed before it goes, and nothing needs to publish without someone choosing to schedule it.
Check the facts a model cannot verify
These are the items we would never wave through:
Prices and offers. Is the price in the caption the price today? Is the discount real and still running?
Claims. Anything about health, safety, ingredients, certifications or comparisons with other products must be something your brand can stand behind. If in doubt, take it out, and confirm regulated claims with your adviser.
Availability. Is the product in stock in the size or variant shown?
Dates. Festival and sale dates should be confirmed for this year, not assumed from last year.
Names and spellings. Product names, place names and transliterated Hindi words are easy to get slightly wrong.
Syncing products and prices from the catalogue reduces some of this risk, but it does not remove it. A promotion agreed on a call last week is not in any catalogue.
Check the voice, briefly
Voice problems are real but usually small. Read the caption once, aloud if possible, and ask whether a customer would recognise it as yours. Common misses are over-excited punctuation, words your brand never uses, or the wrong Hindi-English mix for the audience. If the same miss keeps appearing, fix it in brand settings rather than editing every draft. Our brand voice guide explains how to write those settings so they actually change the output.
Check the image for what matters
Look at
Why
The product itself
It should look like what the customer will receive
Logo and colours
Placement and colour should match brand settings
Text on the image
Spelling, price and dates must match the caption
Anything unexpected
Odd hands, objects or symbols that do not belong
Cultural fit
Festival imagery should suit the occasion and the audience
What you can safely spend less time on
Reviewers often burn time on choices that do not matter much: swapping one synonym for another, nudging an emoji, debating two near-identical layouts. If the facts are right, the voice is recognisable and the image is clean, the post is ready. Perfectionism here is what made posting slow in the first place.
A review routine that scales
Review in batches, a week at a time, on the calendar view.
Check facts first, then image, then voice.
Fix repeated voice issues once in brand settings.
Keep a short list of claims your brand never makes.
Let the performance coach’s read of reach, saves and engagement inform next month’s plan, not today’s edits.
Should AI-generated posts be reviewed before publishing?
Yes. A person should check prices, offers, claims, availability and dates, glance at the image and read the caption once for voice. In Content AI any line or image can be edited before it is scheduled.
What is the most common mistake in AI-made posts?
Facts the model cannot verify, such as today’s price, a running offer or this year’s festival date. Check those before voice or layout.
How do I stop fixing the same tone problem every time?
Change the brand settings for voice and language mix once, instead of editing each draft.
