Carrier MIS Files into the Control Tower.

Carriers send their updates as spreadsheets in their own formats. Re-typing them is where data goes wrong.

What this source gives the control tower

How SCM for Manufacturers reads it

Carrier and warehouse files in any template are auto-ingested and staged first. The LR series decides which carrier a row belongs to; headers only break a tie. Conflicts with what is already recorded wait for a person, and the decision is remembered next time.

Checks before anything goes live

All six sources land on one record per trip in SCM for Manufacturers: the ERP dispatch sheet, carrier MIS files, FASTag and SIM, GPS and carrier APIs, the gate handheld, and POD with reconciliation. Every conflict with what is already recorded waits for a person. See the control tower guide.

Questions

Do carriers need to use our template?

No. Files in any template are read; the LR series identifies the carrier.

What if a carrier’s file disagrees with GPS or the gate?

The conflict is staged for a person to decide, and that decision is applied to future uploads.

See it on your own data. SCM for Manufacturers puts the plant gate, carriers, RDC stock, cold chain and OTIF on one control tower. Book a 30-minute working session with an engineer.
